If talking about topics you’re an expert on isn’t working to book clients or make sales, it’s not because you’re not expert enough.

It’s because there are key components that must be included for your content to be effective at selling.

For your content to sell, you’ve got to talk about:
  1. Problems your customers are having
  2. Outcomes you can help them achieve
  3. Process steps to get from problem to outcome
  4. Invitation to work with you

Today we’re digging into the fourth component.

You have to directly tell people what you offer and then invite them to do business with you.

Without connecting these dots, a reader might see you as a trusted expert and still have no idea that they can hire you or buy your products to help them reach their desired outcomes.

That’s because your audience are not mind readers!

They are there for entertainment or to learn, and they aren’t just assuming that you have an awesome offer that can change their lives.

You have to tell them about it.

You don’t have to be pushy.

You can be invitational.

You can say something at the end of your content like, “If you’re struggling with [problem] and want to reach [outcome], I offer a 6-month coaching program that does exactly that. In this program we’ll work together to (name a process step you’ll take them on to get from problem to outcome). If you’re interested, apply through my link in bio or DM me with questions.”

It can be this simple.

When you include this, along with the other 3 key components, your audience starts reaching out with questions, hiring you, and buying your products!

They’ll probably also say, “I’ve been looking for something like this!”

I know how hard it can be when you’re so in it, that you can’t see yourself clearly and have no idea what to say.

That’s why I support conscious business owners with a proven product or service to put these key components into practice, so they can make sales without feeling pushy or out of integrity in my 2-month 1:1 coaching program.
